Any suggestions of a free RAW camera app for a iPhone 7 from your experience.

Why? It's hard enough editing on a calibrated 21" monitor. It must be impossible on a phone.

Any serious editing would not be impossible to do, just impossible to do well.

The only useful thing I can think of is the correction of a gross failure of the auto white balance, by adjusting the colour temperature of the RAW file before saving it to a new JPG.

Not free, but Halide is £5.99. That will take RAW pictures alongside JPG or HEIC that can then be sent to your computer for editing in photoshop. I have it for iPhone XR, not sure if it works for the 7. It can also turn the camera into manual focus mode, EV adjustments etc.
