Protective "filters"

    Does this further the discussion whether protective filters are worthwhile?

    For taking pictures on Bognor Seafront at high tide in very windy conditions like I did Saturday such a filter may well be an absolute boon. Trying to keep my normal filter free from too much spray was a total 'mare... :rolleyes:

    And those are precisely the sort of conditions where a protective filter is needed.
