Hee hee, I recognised the camera in the TTV shot before I recognised the view!

I should probably get out more...

From the signature line I was expecting a few X-ray shots - which is not something I've been able to play with.

I've posted this one before, but it's definitely a bit quirky and experimental...

Quirky because the pic was meant for the Pentax forum which has strict rules about the camera used and the Ricoh in the picture predates the Ricoh takeover of Pentax so is not acceptable. Not only that, that Ricoh building has nothing to do with Pentax, being part of the Ricoh office equipment arm.

Experimental because I had a lot of fun with PSE getting the effect I wanted...

I particularly like the first one. Very threatening. Reaching out of the mist/gloom. Oh yes!

Looks like a Steven King devil-teddy-bear horror film poster... ;)

My first thought was something coming out of a murky pond. Boo!

I thought what a horrible thing to do to a highland terrier (not that I'm much clued up on dog breeds). Anyway it is very effective and VERY quirky but looks too well done to be 100% experimental :)

Does experimental mean it can't be well done? In one term, then yes, but in an art way I feel it means something different.

In fact this was what the inter web says.
It is sometimes used virtually synonymously with *'avant‐garde', but 'experimental' usually suggests a more explicit desire to extend the boundaries of the art in terms of materials or techniques, whereas 'avant‐garde' can include novel and provocative ideas expressed through traditional techniques.

Well, an experiment can fail, but avant-garde is an experiment that worked?

Anyway, you want quirky? I'll give you quirky. Had a dental appointment at lunchtime to have a temporary crown replaced. It got postponed to three. And not only do I have a nice new crown (but can't eat until about six) she also let me have the temporary one and...

The real thing looks a bit better...

They've apparently run out of storage space! Oh, and the blue bit is where the new crown is.

I have used this vase for a few shots so was just experimenting with it. This is not a keeper though as I am sure you will see why!
