    I like some of those wooden churches you have in the States. I came across a pink one in Dolan Springs AZ. I am sure I took a photo so will have to look.

    I grew up in a church very much like it. Like most of them, it's gone now.

    One of many churches in Helensburgh - but one of the few that still operates as a church. It was called The West Kirk when I was a kid. It took on the congregation of St Columba at one point and became St. Andrew's Kirk, I think. Then when the CofS sold off another building, the congregation of Park Church joined and it was renamed Helensburgh Parish Church. It's still the West Kirk to me and a lot of other old fogies. St Columba is now a cinema and Park Church is a buddhist meditation centre.

    Winterborne Clenston, St Nicholas church, rebuilt 1840

    Wimborne Minster, Originally a Benedictine abbey over 1300 yeasrs ago in 705 , King Ethelred 1st of Wessex buried there in 871, brother of Alfred the great.
    (must go back and get it all in)

    Here's one of a ceiling at Peterborough Cathedral taken in 2008 on a very wet August day. Eos 5D on floor, and timer etc. (50mm lens at F/8)
