I went for a walk today and thought I'd try some landscapes (which really isn't my thing) I was so uninspired so didn't even really try so got some people instead. Shame it was shot into the sun.

A landscape from my day. Those of you that watch Channel 4, will maybe recognise the cement works in the distant centre (dependant on how good your eyesight is!)

It can be rather odd what photographs Flickr bot finds to be moderate, it is usually fine with statues though.

Definitely walton pier. But taken from quite a way from it.

They must have built some closer in since I was there. In "Windy" they look far closer than I remember - that was 2014.

Edit: Assuming that I took this from the SeaView Heights garden, this is looking straight out parallel to or just bearing right away, from the pier, from the cliff-top, Frinton side, with effective focal length 420 mm. The sailing boat is probably out about the pier length.

Those two turbines are the same as the ones at the edge of the pier in the original post in question I think Pete. It's just a bit deceptive in the photos. When I'm back there next weekend I'll try and take a few shots and put them up to see how they compare.

More likely it is me getting forgetful ! I was surprised to find image 0108 - most pics I have are moderate to wide-angle and the turbines appear so far out in those.

    Wheel Tracks - 02
    by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

Every summer on the seafront at Bognor there's a few rides etc. on the seafront, this year it seems they added a mobile ferris wheel. It was gone a couple or 3 weeks later...

The tracks actually belong to a fishing boat keel and the tractor it's hauled in with.
