Having dabbled with LF and still having a darkroom, I was looking forward to this week's article about contact printed portraits. Ilford HP5 I understand, but not how to produce 10" x 8" contact prints from a 5" x 4" Deardorff. (Lost in editing?) Similarly, 4 of the 5 examples you show are not contact print sized from either 5" x 4", or 10" x 8". That of Mr & Mrs Slottke might be a contact from 5" x 4".
