i have put threads on equipment but thought i would try here looking for mid range dslr like the nikon d7000 nikon d5200 but saw this and liked the spec especially weather proofing 100% view finder pentaprism 6fps

on argos at 450 anyone got one will be doing outdoors mainly wildlife landscapes

wondered whats its focusing and tracking was like on moving objects

Not as good as Nikon, but still perfectly usable for wildlife imo. This taken with the K5 which has a similar AF performance. Similarly poor some might say, but fine for me. For example, these little things really shift:

AF performance will also depend upon the lens used.

Instead of Argos I'd check out a specialist retailer such as SRS Microsystems. You'll get a two year warranty.

You may well also find good deals on ex-displays, etc.

According to CameraPriceBuster, most photographic dealers seem to have the K50 at under £450 with 18-55 WR, and you're likely to get better customer service from them, as well as options of bundle deals with memory cards, lenses, bags etc.
