Here in BRENTWOOD a few people had 'Socially Distanced Street Parties' but only two of us in my road had anything outside -- there was a good one in a small cul-de-sac off my road. Here I am Saluting during the 2 minute Silence taken by my Daughter - my Dad was 27 years Royal Navy and got Torpedoed 3 times but survived until 1968 but his Lungs were affected with getting soaked by Sea Water operating the Guns , then SMOKING, then STEAM TRAINS at Liverpool Street Station -- he died 1968 . I served 3 years + 4 years on Reserve Royal Army Medical Corps 1955-58 mainly in British Military Hospitals in Germany ( so I didn;' get and MEDALS for Germany -- those ones are my Dad's ! ) BMH Munster, BMH Berlin, BMH Iserlohn in the Pathology Labs.
