    RovingMike Crucifixion's a doddle...

Maybe we should have a thread where we can post answers and people have to work out what they are to? I often wonder in the Lounge if some aren't answering a different thread entirely.

Shades of "Mock the Week". Here's a starter answer: £16,000 a month. Now what was the question?

For those too mired in the Brexit, here's a clue. It's about the other international organisation we belong to. :)

    Dear Mike,

An even better idea: a thread for "personal abuse" (aka "facts"), without naming anyone in them, and without being excessively specific; the description should be phrased sufficiently vaguely that it could apply to at least half a dozen people.

Those who [think they] recognize themselves can then take offence, or not, as they feel inclined. Or indeed remedial action.

As no-one else seems to have picked this up, it's about one Patricia Scotland, AKA "Baroness Shameless" and currently Secretary General of the Comonwealth, who employed A PR "Guru" called Joe Phelan for the aforementioned substantial salary. His duties seem to have included spending £300,000 on redecorating Marlborough House, the Secretary General's official residence, and arranging a party costing £50,000. This is despite the Commonwealth's finances being distinctly shaky at the moment and the employment itself not being authorised by the governing council.

    Dear Andrew,

Betcha it would be comparatively easy to find another £80,000+ a month, in the form of 5x £16,000+ tranches, with very little research (albeit more than I can be bothered to do).
