    I haven't posted in a long time. Nothing world shattering about this but just to show you that I'm still 'at it'.

    It's a White Legged Damsel for anyone interested.

    Well, you say nothing world shattering, but it is an absolutely stunning shot. No need for me to wax lyrical about the composition, focus, sharpness or colouring - you obviously know all that, and more, and are able to reproduce it again and again.

    This is "just" another example of your skills, your patience and perseverance - and a real pleasure to see :)

    Regards, Mike

    Thanks for the nice remarks.

    What I meant by not 'world shattering' was that it's a pretty bog standard shot of a damsel that's just sitting there waiting to dry. I usually try for something with a bit more Natural History interest but couldn't find anything this morning.

    Thanks again.

    Nothing showing on my monitor just a grey box.

    But a technically perfect grey box. ;);)

    Seriously though - it's OK at my end.

    RovingMike Crucifixion's a doddle...

    Looks like the polished aluminium legged variety to me. Nice.

    if that is your 'ho-hum routine' then I would be amazed at what you consider out of ordinary.
    A very true nature shot and - in passing - superb composition, not too tight a crop, just right;

    mind what do I know?

    I hope that I didn't give the impression of complacency or arrogance. It certainly wasn't meant that way.

    I'm usually looking for more 'action' especially unusual action like this.

    anyone who snapped that one has no arrogance - you brought pleasure where there was little (train fares UK) and you exhibited art where we loved it; no worries mate
