Nice composition. Needed more dof. I think this is suffering from Flickr downsizing. For some reason recently Flickr has been displaying very poor quality images even 800 pix max originals have needed a page refresh to look sharp.

Downloading the image from this page I see that it is 2048 x 1365 pixels.

It's an excellent shot - I've tried stuff like this myself and know how difficult it can be. The DOF looks to be about 1 mm, but the camera and lens details have been stripped off so comments about aperture and depth adjustments are impossible.

You missed the focus on the eyes John

Oooh... so close to being excellent.
Just a bit more DOF and it would have been great. Did you use a flash? if not, get a ring-flash and you will be able to get the DOF easily.

Not enough DOF for my tastes. If you're going to sacrifice DOF then the focus needs to be in the right place, which would be the eyes in this case.
