Dear All, I am new to the field. I am interested in taking close-up photography and also nature.... I might use a close-up in clinical photography. I am looking for a 70-300mm (F4-5.6) for my NIKON F60. I am confused about the type of lenses. I am tempted to by the NIKON 70-300 G (F4-5.6) as it is only 100 pounds. I have not read many good reports about the Nikon G lens! Any good reports about Tamron Macro 1:2 LD (70-300 f4-5.6) which is also about 140 pounds. Any suggestions??

I love my Nikon 70-300G it may be cheap but its got me some decent results and at that price you can always make Jessops price match anything advertised!
