The "you" was in response to "your" allegation that "we" scots had imposed on "YOU" a Scottish king therefor I pointed out that "YOU" did not have a scottish king but a german one. YOU have now gone through tiresome and well into tedious so if you have nothing better to do you can carry on this discussion with yourself.

Back to the election. Thanks to the feckups at the tory party we are now going to have a re-run of the PCC vote in Wiltshire. This is going to cost £1.5 million. Given that the tory head office was informed of their candidate's criminal record when he put himself forward, its an absolute disgrace. Perhaps Carrie-Antoinette can make do with some magnolia instead of gold-leaf, to save the expense coming out of public coffers.

One assumes that said candidate knew of his conviction and his ineligibility to stand, that being the case he should have declared it. The party head office should not have nominated him, assuming they checked his eligibility, so the party should pay the costs of their mistake.

I have this problem with the party system, to get the political parties to be accountable for their actions, and promises, requires that politicians vote for that to happen, but if they do that they become liable. How do we get change when the very things we want changed are the ones controlling the changes? Revolution?
