I was working just off the Euston Road today. This street is 200yds and a world away from the multilane ring road.

This makes a lovely change from all the sour-faced commuters on the train!
She looked even happier when she was telling me about Chelsea winning last night.

Daisies after the rain
After hearvy rain the sun came out so I went and shot this at about 5pm. No time to set up as I was off out immediately afterwards. Canon EOS 400D.

A quick picture, snapped on my cameraphone on the way back from the polling station, of the pair of Canada geese that have taken up residence on the village pond. The one that's eyeing up the camera is only doing so because the inference of me approaching them with my arm outstretched was that food was at hand. So now I feel guilty and will have to go back tomorrow with an offering of Mother's Pride.
From my darkroom...
Spent so long in the darkroom this evening I nearly forgot it was First View Day!!! So here's one for nostalgia buffs...
Thanks to digital photography I could suddenly afford one of the finest 35mm enlargers ever made!! This one was from the personal darkroom of Mr J. H. Coote - one of Ilfords talented researchers, author of 'Monochrome Darkroom Practice' and developper on the Multigrade team.

Pentax 50/1.4 Demo in Store
The customer bought the lens due my superb sales skills, the fact I "didn't" use
my middle digit as a model, the beautiful bokeh/bouquet/BeauKay/?? but not
because our (regular) price was $100/£50 less than the other stores in Vancouver

May 1st, 2008 - Polling Day.
It's polling day and I'm trying to blitz five essays for deadlines on Tuesday. So I nipped out to the shop for some coffee to keep me awake and stopped off to cast my vote. Terrible pic cos the sun was directly behind the polling station and my arms were laden with bags. Didn't want to shoot any closer as, as ever, the suspicious looks verge my way on the estate as to why I would be taking pics of the polling station.
