This is incorrect as the original version, http://www.europe-nikon.com/en_GB/product/nikkor-lenses/auto-focus-lenses/dx/zoom/18-200mm-f-3-5-5-6g-if-ed-af-s-vr-dx-zoom-nikkor had VRII as well.

Of course, that makes the original version even better value.
