Hi guys I'm new here. I have a fujifilm s4000 and I was wondering if any can point me to a good macro lens for it? Or can I put one one at all?

    Thanks guys!

THANK YOU! That's what I want. Something cheap haha. Just want to try it out. And I'm sorry, but what is bridge camera!

A bridge camera tends to be relatively chunky with a handgrip and a zoom lens that has a greater range than normally found on compact cameras but functionally is similar to a compact cameras.

Im surprised that your fuji doesn't have a macro mode on it. I know my HS30EXR used to be able to focus on my finger touching the front element. As to buying a close-up filter, check beforehand that your lens has a screwthread on the front.

It does, but no matter what I do a I can't get a clean enough photo for my liking with it. Probably could do with a good service and clean.
