Its that time of year again the 89th London to Land’s End Trial where close to six hundred entrants with two, three and four wheeled have a go at the above challenge. The events starts from a number of locations at 5:10 on Friday 22 April and wind its way for 350 miles towards Lands End, the first away should finish at around 11:30 on Saturday 22nd April. This is an amazing event, with plenty of interesting vehicles and numerous viewing spots, possibly one of the best is on the old mine Tin workings on the Blue Hills at St Agnes – for a list of view spots see http://www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk/events/landsend_spectate.htm For more information on the event see - http://www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk/events/landsend.htm You can see some of the pics posted 2 years back... http://www.amateurphotographer.co.u...End-Trial-(12-lt-100kb)&highlight=lands+trial I will be heading down from Teignmouth to the Blue Hills for when that section opens at 11:20, anyone who wants to car share, please drop me a PM, I will be going via Exeter and then on the A30… A couple of pics...
This brings back memories as for years in the 60's and 70's we used to follow it down from London on the Bike staying around in Cornwall for the rest of the holiday. Well worth a visit especially Bluehills in the current weather.
