Lovely photos David. The first is my favourite, but I feel you need to loose about an inch off the right side! Like this (hope you don't mind): I feel the dark area detracts from the photo.
I agree with Fen that they are brilliant shots. My favourite is the "soup bowl" with the light illuminating the centre- that's fantastic
Hi Fen. No I don't mind and I see what you mean about the dark area at this size but the detail is retained in the large version and doesn't look as unbalanced as it does here.
I agree that these are nice pics, I love the lake district and try to get there every year if possible. I also agree with the crop Fen, looks much better with less of the dark side.
Might be too late with my new Avatar David - Any chance of posting a link to larger version of the first picture to see what you're saying?
lovey. very well taken. ps. I prefer the uncropped version just because I feel this image looks better with a more rectangular shape to it.
You mean your avatar that's so dark you can hardly make out that that's you dressed as a monk in there somewhere???
All great, but I agree with others that pick out the first one as their favourite. It's a beautiful picture.
Fantastic pictures there David You must have spent ages up there waiting for the light to be just so. Gaz
I think these are wonderful, totally inspirational… Definitely a case of location, location, location!
