My ancient Fujifilm X10 is still my go-to camera for having a camera with me on non-photo activities, but at the moment the shutter release button is jamming down each time I take a shot. It is very short travel, and i can get it back up using a knife blade, but would like to know if any one else has been faced with this problem, and if there is a quick fix. The only thing I have thought of so far - but not tried - is to hold it upside down and inject a tiny bit of WD40 into the socket. It is probably not worth sending it away to get fixed, as I can probably get a another one for less than a couple of hundred quid, but I would like to fix it if I can. Any ideas from the hive mind of the AP forum?
