Hên Llandegfan in lovely spring weather...

The snow couldn't stick on the rooves because the wind kept blowing it off.

Thank you. One of very few I managed to get before my fingers froze!
Mind you, I was up late today so most of the snow was either slush (on the roads) or full of footprints etc.

I suppose you could describe this as a picture of branch lines...

I went down to the Trent today - that wind was pretty much the coldest wind I'd ever experienced!

Yes, I remarked to the wife when I returned from dog walking duties. It really is a cutting wind. It makes your head hurt!. I've never seen those sheep sheltering before, and they're out in all weathers. Poor things.

The same wind that is moving that steam cut through me like a knife.

You wouldn't want to be falling in there today.

Indeed, and the path along it, and the canal was utterly treacherous. The whole thing was flooded on Wednesday last week due to melt water and rain, never seen it as high as it was then, so the ground and the paths are now sodden, and frozen over. Great combo.

Let me see if I can find some shots.

Annoyingly, I don't have a shot of the river bank on the canal side which shows the normal levels, but it was about 6 -8 feet higher on Wednesday, and flowing over onto the tow/foot path.
