It's Friday...and I'm bored (don't tell my boss!)

So who else is wandering around the forum at 2pm on a Friday afternoon?

I'm really just trying to kill time until my next coffee break (by drinking coffee at my desk by the way).

Might try and think of a few food-related ideas in the meantime...that, or think about what every bloke thinks about 6 million times a day...or a combination of both (to spice up the monthly comp).

Now if only Jessops would deliver my damn 100mm macro!

For now, dear friends, I shall leave you with this...a picture of a pub:

    I need a beer...somebody buy me one..please....

Ooooo beer... I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet beer, as a famous philosopher once opined.

If you are bored you could come over and help me pack up my office. It's recking my head. We are only moving one floor, but the upheaval is amazing.

Packing my old cameras at the moment and having second thoughts about how good an idea it is to collect them. They are mostly old cack too.

    Not the cameras, but...

All those nice books you have on the shelf...

If you need to make room...

    Well...

If they need a new home... :D

And if you need a home for the cameras...

That's a pretty cruel thing to do :(

I now want beer more than anything else I have ever wanted in my life...

Well, that might be a lie.

I do know that one of our directors has a bottle of Welsh wine in his office...that may have to do...a swift ninja-like theft operation should do it :)

Sorry mate....does this make up for it? :D

Or is that cruelty to Steve and cruelty to cameras in one thread? :D

Is it my imagination, or is that a Canon 100mm f2.8 USM Macro? ;)

I think that could be the ET-67 lens hood on it too :D

The only thing worse would be if you had posted a pic of the lens with a ring flash attached...

I am still incredibly frustrated by the fact that I own a ring flash but don't have the 100mm yet :(

Skeleton staff here, (boss ain't in!) just kicking my heels until cease work. Snow's turning to slush, so it should take less time to get home than the 3 1/2 hours it took to get in this morning (usually 1/2 hour)

In an effort to let the police and JCB digger through the traffic (on their way to an incident near Oxford) this morning on the A34, a lorry put his offside wheels into the central reservation ditch and had to be lifted out by the JCB! Happened 20 yards behind me - very amusing.

You bring these things upon yourself :D

You know you can tape/hold the ringflash onto other lenses if you want to have a go with it ;)

And I assume - haven't tried it yet - that the same trick works as with the ML-3 - fit a Cokin (or Jessops) A series adaptor to your lens, and the flash will attach to that.
