Yes, I often wonder what happened in his days. I bet my brother has any earlier ones but he's not saying. I think dad wrote articles for a local paper or publication somewhere too, but I haven't found anything. My mum dying etc deprived me of many things and dad going early too didn't leave me time to ask. The wicked step-mother got rid of most stuff. Ah well, my brother gave me these years (1944 and 1945) and after photocopyinng them I sent quite a lot of war memorabilia to the Scottish war museum. One day someone else will read all about it.
They have good reason to be grateful, he had nice handwriting too.
