Is it broken? Manual focus

I have an LX100 which up till now worked fine.
I normally operate on aperture priority.
I moved the slider to Manual focus and I have suddenly found that auto focus still persists. This has never happened in the past.

What should I check? I've looked in the menu but I'm not having any luck solving this.

I am not familiar with Pany but assume it has the MF slider on the lens if so it would be worth cleaning the lens contacts

If the lever/switch has not been moved for a long time, it may just be dust or whatever on its contacts. I suggest operating the slider a few dozen times with the camera off, then see if that has fixed the issue. I'd be very wary of spraying some electrical switch contact cleaner into the insides of a camera .....
