It's a boy vs girl thing

The man is always interested in having the best equipment while the girl is more interested in what can be done with it. Maybe that's why there are lots of good women photographers.

As I found out at the weekend to my cost.
You can still look at a print, negative or slide with a scratch on it
Try looking at a CD or DVD with a scratch on it

This image was stored on and displayed from the disc that it shows.

It is one of my daily accounts back up DVDs and it is in and out of the drive several times a day.

Maybe it is time that I gave it a clean?

Or time you recorded it onto a new disk, Chris.
I remember the CD revolution being shown on Tomorrows World.
They reckoned that they were almost indestructable, and you could scrub them under the tap or even spread marmalade on them, and they'd still work.
I've got vinyl LP's from 1966 that still play.
Doubt whether I'll be playing any CD's in 2044 though.

Oh my gawd....you're either a Sales Rep or using Film/img/wwwthreads/wink.gif.

    Morning Liz,

Seriously, you may have to elaborate a touch more....if you feel so inclined, either by post or PM. Regardless, you definitely have the grey matter swirling.
