    Sounds like a plan, A36 - A303 or A36 - M27 eastwards?

TBF though, if it wasn't for us tourists, you'd still be living in caves down there, wouldn't you? ;):)

Was very hot. Now clouding over, wind getting up and cooling rapidly.

Skies have clouded over, starting to rain and the odd bit of thunder and lightening.

Still bright here but getting cooler, forecast suggests a rumbling evening.

I think we'll get 2 solid weeks of grey skies here in essex from the weekend - my last 2 weeks of Holiday from last year have finally been booked :)

Rain now. Knew it would since it's blue bin day. Just retrieved mine after collection. Now drying off.

Today's rain was enlightening, it seems I have a split gutter at the front of the house, bother!

No last time it was disturbed was 25 years ago so probably just aged. Parts about £15, access platform £77

I met a friend for lunch in Manchester City Centre. On the walk back to the station I had thunder and lightning and the heavens opened. My waterproof jacket, admittedly 22 years old, isn’t in fact waterproof anymore. This will be second one of my old jackets that I will have binned this year.
I am soaked through, t shirt, jeans, undies and socks.
But as they say, we are not made of sugar.

Ha! Poor you. Soggy. As we say here, at least skin can be dried easily. I had that happen to me when I walked up to the dentist. The heavens opened and my jacked was absolutely soaked through, including what was in my pockets. Unfortunately with windows open in surgeries, it was still wringing wet to wear and go home again. No fun.

Well the thunder and lightning completely missed us last night and today was very pleasant. Warm with light cloud and sunny intervals. I expect to wake up soon.
