Horrible, wet and windy and I've a hospital appointment this afternoon. One wet slog uphill to get there, one awkward hobble downhill home. :(

Sunny, light breeze and very pleasant. Gonna pay for it later!

Kate, if I have to walk any distance I use one of these, also saves carrying heavy items, just rest it on the seat.
You should be able to stow camera and lenses in the bag beneath the seat. I can also strap a brolly, walking stick, monopod or tripod to one of the side tubes. mobility1[1].jpg

Clamp one or two of these to the handle mount camera on one and and video or lighting on another

Apply brakes, sit down swing camera over, ideal for folk festivals, parades etc no carrying heavy kit, somewhere to sit and save the legs

I survived my trip to hospital. There were moments of rapid acceleration on the way there and moments of reversal on the way home but I made it.
My circulation certainly speeded up when I got indoors! Now just cream-crackered.

Apparently the deluge happens tomorrow. Oh joy.

If the gales forecast for tomorrow are as strong as predicted I may see some local sheep flying past my house.
Perhaps being heavily pregnant will make this less likely.

    Wow! Chester! Congratulations! ;)

PS The sheep will make for the lee side of a bank and stay safe.

In a few weeks time there will be lots of very small lightweight lambs out and about - hopefully no storms are likely then. But they are only like this for a few weeks - they grow very fast and then some begin banging their heads together (this may be the male lambs who don't know that they have a very short life expectancy).

Unusual south south easterly winds forecast for tomorrow, meaning most of a run without headwinds, for once. I'll need to be out early though to avoid the later rain.

I’m in Devon this weekend, probably not a wise move.
