I'll have to have a count-up at the weekend (I can see this thread running and running!), but in the meantime, take a peep at THESE.

Not all still in my tender care, but this will give you an idea of the affliction...

Lately that's been down to the 3 Canon digital, the Nikon and my Lumix compact... I really ought to fire up the film gear more often.

    The Nikon D40 and D80
One of the T70s (colour film)
    Fuji St605 (mono film)
    XA 2 (colour film)
Trip 35 (mono film, as it has a filter thread and the XA 2 doesn't)
    Pentax Optio M50

Thought I had too many, but reading some of the others, perhaps not.

One DSLR - Weekly use at least.

Five SLRs - two in at least weekly use, one roughly monthly, one on loan to my son, and one broken, waiting for first aid.

One Oly trip 35, often with me when I can't be bothered with anything bigger.

One RZ67, not used as much as I'd like.

Well their two schools here, photographers and collectors. The two overlap of course, but I'm firmly in the photographer's camp and the only interest I have in kit is in the images it enables me and/or others to produce.

I have a few Canon DSLRs but mostly because I don't sell old ones when I buy a new one. I tend only to use the newest one but it does get used regularly. My old one recently had a wee holday down to the IoM TT as it managed to sneak a lift with my brother. I prefer it when they get used.

JUst added another to my list, a Nikon D2H on the recommendation of my local newspapers Chief Tog, perfect for sports and most other stuff, and still in use by him and the staffers. Good enough for him then good enought for me too!!

Like most keen amateurs I have far more cameras and lenses than the level of my photographic ability justifies.

I clearly need to do some acquiring and fast.

    1 x Canon 5D Mk II
    1 x Canon Rebel Xti
    1 x Praktika Nova - deceased
    1 x Praktika Nova - untested
    1 x Zenit 122 (on loan)
    1 x Mamyia 645 (on loan)
1 x Kodak Easyshare DX4330 (3.1 megapixels no less!) (And I've just checked - it came with a whopping 265MB memory card too.)
    1 x Fujifilm Finepix XP
1 x Nikon coolpix thing that I've never been able to get on with at all

and that's the lot. Pretty minimalist really.
