right are you ready, I'm wanting the moon on a stick as far as what I want !
I have an old Panny DMC- LX2 and a Panny Camcorder HDC-SD20
they fit in my "man bag" and take on walks, holidays and events.
    my camcorder is now DOA.

What Camera do I get to replace them both?

my requirements (told you - moon on a stick)
small enough to put in my man bag
    wide angle
zoom up to 16x (what would this be on a Panny 4/3 lens ? - 42-200 or 100-300)
image stabilisation on video and pictures
    auto focus on all 28 - 200
manual focus for me trying to learn (still learning)
want fantastic photos to crop using PSP x3
can use a small ish tripod to put on something for night shots
LCD back screen (dont mind if it has got a viewfinder as well)
sometimes hold camera above crowd to get a shot
interested in the panoramic photo taking ability - looks fun
do like to use the modes alot - night, sport, beach, etc - I need to learn what to use manually so I can create different shots. but the auto is a must if SWMBO is wanting to go somewhere and then "not hang about, messing around :) "
    Self Timer
continuous shooting for when kids jump in pool, jet ski's and dune buggys, but must be able to zoom.
    Flash in built
    not bothered with hot shoe
    storage - SD

my heart is saying Panny G2 with two lens (14-42)&(
    my head is saying TZ10

Going to stick with Panasonic as I am used to them.
    Budget is £500 tops.

which one would have the better video taking attributes (ie: auto focus whilst zooming in and out)

Also looking for a shortish Tripod - tops of 3feet extended

oh and where to sell my dads Pentax Z10 ? still takes film and with power zoom lens 28 -80
    ;)
