Help I think I want some new glass

    I think you have solved Steve's problem Nick. I just hope that he will appreciate your pearls of wisdom. The only thing that worries me. Will the Nikon metering still work or will he forced to use it in manual mode?

    Depends on whether he uses it mounted normally or, as I would recommend, reversed. Alternatively, he could mount it to the front of his Hubble with a coupling ring to permit quite spectacular macro shots.

    I told the wife that your to blame. What for? All this talk of lenses has made me get on the phone and order a new standard lens for my new/old treasure, from The Classic Camera co. Mind you when the guy said "ASP" and I replied does that mean I'll get it in tomorrows post, he did seem rather at a lose.

    A ferrari, a bigger house, a younger wife,a range rover, two new canon Dig SLR, two EOS1vHS, a 14mmF2.8l, 17-35mmF2,8l, 50mmF1.2, 85mmF1.2,135F2, 300f2.8IS, 500mmF4IS, 1200mmF5.6, three 550EX, Apple G4 titanium, new nikon coolscan,portable automatic c41 processor installed in back of the Range Rover, and anything else I haevnt mentioned, plus a million in the bank.

    Ohh well, Cant afford any of that,

    Hang on, whats this down the back of the sofa, feels like a cheque



    No just a fiver, ohh well, I can afford some new nicads.....or a packet of fags, sod it I'm off to the pub.
