Hello to everyone! I'm a Pentax person from sunny Nottingham (yes it is actually sunny as I write). I registered here to see if I could get some help with my AP subscription on Google. I subscribed to AP using Google News on my Android tablet back in December but I had a missing issue for 12th January and now for the last three weeks they seem unable to give me the magazine at all. They say they have a "specialist team" working on the problem. Has anyone else subscribed using Google and are the magazines coming through to you OK?

Thanks in advance for any info on this, especially how to complain to AP about poor service from Google magazine subscriptions.

Hello. The forum is not directly linked to the publishing service side and only loosely to the magazine. It always surprises me how many people corresponding here don't buy the mag. on a regular basis. The business of getting the publication distributed rests with the publisher, Time International. They tend to be quite reliable with the printed version. I have no idea about the electronic versions - the very first edition was dire to read and I never ventured past the demo.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case. I will have to cancel the digital subscription and subscribe to the paper version I suppose.

Time International isn't the publisher any more, it's a company called TI Media, which has been owned by a British private equity company since some time last year.

The editor drops in as and when he can, but there just aren't the same number of staff to interact with as there used to be.
