Shame it doesn't say Elon or it might be worth a bomb.
If you ordered no L it would be EON
You are a LONE voice...
I don't need to know that!
By my calculations that means that 2050 is about next week. No?
I know!! Horrifying isn't it? I'll be well gone by 2050. As you imply though, 1990 seems like yesterday.
When I was a child, I always remember the saying "Life's too short to......". At the time I thought that's nonsense, life will drag on and last forever. Wrong again!
I remember when being told that dinner would be ready in 'half an hour' it meant certain starvation because half an hour was aaaaaaaaaaages!
With moderate luck I may still be around in 2050 (in my mid eighties). I doubt my pension will have reached the point where I could afford to retire by then - it's currently looking like I need to work till I'm at least 150 and the likely date of my retirement is steadily moving back.
Surely 1990 was only yesterday, there are parts of it that I remember very clearly (somehow I can't manage that for 2050).
Hah! I sometimes have trouble remembering what I did do yesterday!
Mind you - late 90s in '50...
Aye, the predicted food shortages are not far away .
Ha! I don't need to, but maybe a good diet is required for a lot of folk now.
Appealed to me anyway!
Becky is considering Glasgow or Edinburgh for her masters, so that has been sent on.
Bunch of tossers
Yeah! Good luck to her. My choice would be Glasgow, but I'm prejudiced because of my Western/Left leanings. Great place to explore.
