    Hi,
I guess this question may have been already raised.
I have a fujifilm hs20exr camera. I like the exr auto mode and understand how it works.
I have read on various Internet sites that in PSAM modes If I change shooting mode from large ( 16 megapixels) to medium which is 8 megapixels , this then uses the EXR pixel fusion mode that doubles the pixel size, and enables lower noise when shooting . Is this correct?.
I get on well with the standard EXR mode. As this is an auto mode ,it gives me no choice on aperture or shutter speed. Hene the question above.

Any other info regarding how to use Exr in Manual shooting modes , if possible will be gratefully received.

    Cheers

    Ian
