Fuji X-S1 " Frame no. full"

    My camera is showing the above message even though it has had very low usage.
    I tried resetring the frame counter but this didn't help.
    The manual advises reformatting then resetting (though it doesn't mention that this will delete all the shots).
    I did this with another memory card but it still displays the same message.
    The websites which advise on Fuji camera problems do not seem to have any connection with Fuji and are asking for payment for advice.
    Would appreciate any assistance.

    There is an incantation in the manual (page 117 in the pdf manual):

    The camera has run out of frame numbers (current frame number is 999-9999). Format the memory card and select RENEW for FRAME NO. Take a picture to reset frame numbering to 100-0001, then select CONTINUOUS for FRAME NO.

    Or did you try all that?
