would you like his comments about Boris and Handcock*?
Would you like his comments about Senior Civil Servants?
Should Dominic Raab and Rishi Sunnak be embarrassed by his positive endorsements?
Even the Carrie Symonds was thought worthy of comment.

    *Not a spelling mistake;)

I watched most of the proceedings. He came across quite well and believable TBH. Yes, there may well be revenge motives, extremely clear he did not like Hancock, but even if not all 100% true, I dare say most will be (or have a large element of) true.

I missed only a few minutes when the BBC Parliament channel switched to the House before I thought to switch to the BBC news channel.
I thought that his own apologies were very carefully calibrated. I thought that his body language very interesting. Often being open but also often slightly covering his mouth.
He handled a long grilling by a relay of interrogators brilliantly.
I wonder how well Hancock will do in two week's time.

Would Corbyn have done any better? I think not.

I anticipate a book or newspaper deal for which all this will provide great free publicity, but am impressed by his use of the 'lions led by donkeys' (which I believe dates from World War 1) even though he was a close advisor to the chief donkey.

Everybody is blaming somebody else, which is to be expected.

At least he wouldn't be selling it off to benefit his chums.

I am not sure I believe him or his sincerity...but he was well prepared, had documents to back his tale and named other witneses. Boris on the other hand said wibble, wibble, bluster vaccines.

Of course he would. Not just Corbyn... anyone would. There are single cell amoebae who could put up a more convincing performance than Johnson - on any subject you care to name.

Johnson is easily the least-capable PM in the past fifty years - and that is despite that fact that there have been some serious bloody duffers during that period.

If this hearing had happened four weeks ago would it have made any difference to the election results...

Errrr, no. Sadly, we're stuck in some sort of weird Groundhog Day, in which the Tories are endlessly re-elected - regardless of their all-too-evident corruption, and extraordinary incompetence. :(

It seems Cummings only job is to have opinions about things and share them.
And expect over people to put them into practice.

If they had no Plans and did the wrong things, it seems he was to blame.
    He was the ideas man.

He is not a man I would ever want standing behind me.

I think he's a man to seriously think about the bigger picture, not the immediate knee-jerk reaction. An ability to think in a systematic way, to see the connections, influences, outcomes (possible) to actions is a rare talent, it seems. I think he is just too intelligent for BJ or others to understand.
