I was there at the first night as well
Getting back to the thread (and having been off-line for a while) I also listened to
"Satan" by Orbital
"Hashpipe" by Weezer
"Go to Hell on Judgement Day" by The Immortal Lee County Killers
There was indeed. I saw them around 1983/4 - not a particularly great band by then, but I can still remember the first time I heard their version on Tommy Vance's show.
See here - they've got the single on vinyl, it's the online continuation of Birmingham's Reddingtons Rare Records, the place where I always used to look for this sort of thing!
Cheers me dears - I'll give them a try...
Look at me - all knowledgable on hi-fi...
*hasn't a scooby-doo really, but hubby's brain is there to be picked*
BTW, I'm still listening to Radio 4.
Very good! Though certain people can now attest I don't look so much like Velma, these days.
Have you all tried this yet?
It's brilliant - listening to Jack Johnson at the moment.
David Gray - Babylon (album version)
Goon show on BBC7, yesterday's episodes, (Jellysock murderer and Million pound penny) on listen again.
Most of the time though is classic FM.
Found the ipod 'phones! *does happy hand-jive under desk so no one notices*
So it's Kate Bush - A Sky of Honey..... aaahhhhh .... peace .....
Is it a good idea to hand-jive under a desk in an open plan office?
Is that one of the discs in the "Aerial" album? Haven't listened to that since Christmas.
There is a very rude "Big Train" sketch about that sort of thing...
Only moving one finger on each hand. This is a serious business you know!
(I'ved caused a bit of a stir by saying "Good Morning!" to people!)
Ah, the joys of office life - or rather not.
Indeed it is - the second disk. The CD practically lives in my car, along with Corinne Bailey Rae's recent one. And Led Zep's 'Early Days'...
Joy from 'Drop the Dead Donkey' ???
Excluding the Led Zep, what fabulous taste you have Mr. Geoff.
On the contrary, that's the ONLY evidence of good taste there! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
