Oxygene - Jean Michele Jarre
You really ought to get an ointment for that...
Yeah! I suffer quite badly with Shostakovitch. I've seen doctors and specialists and so on but none of them seem to be able to help.
Did anyone here (apart from me) go to Docklands when he did the show there?
I have a feeling my hubby was watching from a flat aroundabouts...
Radio 4 - You and Yours
Do they just keep telling you to compose yourself? Or that you have classical symptoms?
Now, it's Teenage Kicks - pure class! A true classic!!!
The World At One
..Loads of people in an enormous open-plan office either bashing their keyboards or bellowing down the phone and I can't find my ipod earphones !
My Stomach rumbling!
Need some lunch.
Go shopping and treat yourself to some Sennheiser ones!
Classic! It was almost worth watching "Weekend World" for!
Went first night - second night it pi**ed down with rain, was instantly hooked and traveled around the world to watch him since.
I can recommend the PX100 Sennheisers - far better than the supplied pair though rather less discrete!
Wish I could but I'm working to very tight deadlines (early starts, fast lunch, late leaves) and I've used my lunch break already...
Will try the old 'visiting the dentist' trick of meditating myself to a 'quiet place' but they start getting cross if they see me with my eyes closed ... will have to wear sunglasses in the office..... or stuff something in my ears... or go home
Some crap on radio 1.
I've got a pair of electrostatic Sennheiser cans. They're a pain to use though, cos of the need to plug the control box into the amp's RCA plugs. Great sound however, but I still prefer my Castle Avons.
Even better was that watching the entire programme wasn't necessary! There was also a very fine cover recorded by a UK band named Quartz (from Birmingham IIRC) about 1979. I wish I could find that one.
What he said.
