Oh - and at the moment I'm listening to the children throwing Rice Krispies at each other and the very annoying Radio 1.

Can't wait for the kids to go to pre-school so I can put Radio 4 on in peace!

I'm now listening to the bloody badger song as I've forgotten to switch the amp back to CD! Arrrgh! This is also Oskar's favourite song - he moshes very sweetly to it. :D

Words can not describe how much I loathe that song (only equalled in its vileness perhaps by Chris De Burgh's gruesome "Lady in Red").

Just stuck on "Get Free" by the Vines to recover. :D ;)

Just listened to Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak album. Still great after 30 years (is it really that long ago!), especially good to hear "Emerald" again.

Last night's Hamish and Dougal episode. I loved the line when Dougal said, apropos of secret ballots: "even Tony Blair's bodyguards keep away when he's inside that booth". :D

What? It's a brilliant album. Different, quirky, challenging and has a strange bleak beauty to it. Every time I hear it I find something new in it.

Now listening to 'Treasure' by the Cocteau Twins.

Pam, we agree on something at last! IMO, Radiohead references are best left for the Stephen Fry thread about causes of depression. ;)
