Not a question I know the answer to - yes there is a simple answer but it could be entirely wrong - if a defanged vaccination shot knocks you out, what might the real thing do?
And yes I do know suggesting the covid vaccines are defanged Covid is over simplifying things.

I will now demonstrate the nature of selective statistics. I see your graph and raise you mine.

See? Now the UK is doing better than Germany!

    Simples!!! :p:D

We don't know until we open that box.

Have you seen the stats for how effective it is on people in their 40s? I haven't so I guess it's not impressive enough to include in scaremongering news stories. Anything which doesn't encourage getting in the car to go get a vaccine must be suppressed.

We are doing better than Germany at present time on deaths.
We are level pegging Germany on daily cases.
Over the pandemic so far, total deaths per million in Germany are about half those in UK.
German deaths have a long way to go to catch up. Improvements in treatment may prevent Germany catching up.

How many day's wages do you lose if you get Long Covid? Or worse? And what if you run into someone like Catriona, who is forced to rely on everyone else's immunity to protect her? FWIW I had no issues at all after jab 2, and as soon as they let me book a booster I'm in.

Oh, and I work with this sort of thing, and I'm quite happy to trust it.

You would have thought everybody would avoid crowds where possible, Sadly that doesn't happen

I'm sorely tempted to ask why you bother with the internet in that case, but I'll refrain, this once!

I collect 'em all, and then zap them at the end of the day. I also use five different browsers just to confuse the enemy.

There's a new lurgy started to do the rounds:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-59418127

"Prof Naismith says mutations in the variant suggest it may spread more quickly...But he says we shouldn't despair: vaccines will be effective, there are new medicines emerging that will "almost certainly" not be affected by the mutation, and we've got other ways of controlling the disease in hospitals"

    So that's ok.
On the same day that Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) says that ambulances are queueing every day outside hospitals:rolleyes:

Yes - I saw that Andy. Rather worrying. No doubt Johnson and his array of hapless gumbies will leave us exposed, and continue to play the "Libertarian" card - blustering about this being a "free" country, blah blah blah....... ad nauseam. :(
