His military green shirt with brown stains (plantain) and his weathered skin and hat makes me think of a peasant in town to sell his produce. Very nice shot! Cheers, Luis
My thanks to R.Mike, Luis and Alan. Luis, I was told the man lost an eye in the fighting following the Bay of Pigs invasion. He was a very friendly chap but then so are the majority of Cuban citizens.
Really like this. Some black and white portraits are a bit over cooked for my taste but this very nice indeed.
Great shot, portraits don't normally do much for me but this is a cracker. What an interesting looking chap, i bet he has lived a colorful life.
