Looks like Canon are about to go all-in on mirrorless and IBIS.

    https://www.canonrumors.com/canon-eos-r5-specifications/
    • Named the Canon EOS R5
    • 45mp full-frame CMOS sensor
    • IBIS
      • 5 stops with IBIS alone
      • 7-8 stops of correction when used with in-lens stabilization
    And

    https://www.canonrumors.com/canon-eos-r6-specifications-cr2-5/

    Canon EOS R6 Specifications:
    • 20mp full-frame CMOS sensor
    • IBIS
    • 12fps mechanical and 20fps electronic.

The EOS R5 is more confidently correct, the R6 is still being firmed up.

Announcements should be coming soon it seems.

Also looks like the EOS R line is going to be a confusing mess of names until things settle down.
