Calling critter experts - ID, please!

    I got terrribly excited when I saw this as I thought it might be a glow worm predating a snail - so I have lots of other photos! Looking on the intertubes, I now doubt that, but what is it? Some kind of ground beetle larva?

    looks like a woodlouse to me - there are 35 species in the UK says Google.

    Too many plates and not enough legs to be a woodlouse/slater. I'm sticking with common ground beetle larva.

    With the number of pics I took, I've probably got some of it's arse end, if that would help?

    Not a glow worm but a ground beetle or carrion beetle larva nicely shot btw Adrian
