As a DWT member I can buy tickets for the monthly winter "expeditions" (their word), the dates and cost are 15/11 @ £7.50, 14/12 @ £6.50, 17/01 @ £7.50, and 22/02 @ £6.50, reason for different prices is £7.50 ferry from Poole £6.50 ferry from Sandbanks, the tickets have to be bought in advance by a DWT member I would like initially to keep numbers down to about half a dozen per trip, not sure what the facilities are like also what DWTs reaction would be to a large number of guests.

I asked Huw what birds could be expected in the winter months, this is his reply
Ferry departs at 10.45am and returns from the Island at 3.00pm so you only get about 4 hours ashore on the Island.

I'm not sure what happens if weather conditions are bad.

Could anybody interested contact me by PM, please note I have no control over the dates quoted above.

    Cheers MIKE
