Please post images here from the Brownsea meet Great day, glorious weather, next one probably April or May.
Sadly I wasn't able to get to this in the end (working today, as it transpired). Glad to hear that the weather was good for you though.
Really enjoyed the day and meeting you guys - didn't take anything worth posting though, so I can't wait to see what you guys took.

Great day today, a special thanks to Mike for putting James & I up for the night. A couple of pics... I met some nice Common Darter Dragons, I am sure this one was pleased to see me... He bought me some lunch... Then an Ant ran off with the "Doggy Bag"... Found a strange chap doing weird things on a bench... Having tried DB’s MPE – HUGE RESPECT, the spiders he takes are about the size of a large grain of sand!!! Found yet another munching dragon... Lots of birds around, this was a nice Egret... A couple of Red’s to finish off with... You looking at me... A great day & wonderful to put some faces to the names...
A couple more... Another of Andy in action... Spider - this was a big one... Focus stack on a dragon Couple of birds in flight
I would also like to thank Mike for arranging the Brownsea meet again and for putting some of the members up. A great day was had by all and we were blessed with good weather, which was a huge relief after the wet summer we have had this year. It was a pleasure to meet some more new faces and I look forward to the next wildlife hunting adventure.
Some brilliant photos there. My two favourites would be the Ninja Squirrel And this one, which is just SUPERB!
I'd also like to add my thanks to Mike for organising the trip. It was great to put faces to names. And just to show there's more to Brownsea than squirrels, bugs and tractors (Though Colin did demonstrate his considerable knowledge of the latter when talking to a passing member of the public while waiting for the reds to put in an appearance )
It was a great day on Brownsea yesterday, many thanks to Mike for organising and to Colin for giving me a lift. There's some excellent photos posted, I love James' ninja squirrel and the tractor. Here's a handful of mine: I'd just like to add, that in James' photo #2, I am NOT 'Scouting for Boys'.
