Just seen the book recommendations have Celebrating the seasons with the The Yorkshire Shepherdess by Amanda Owen. I have watched her on telly for years and was given the book for my birthday. It was a fantastic read and wonderful photography of her family and the farm. For me sheep are the star attraction but anyone with an interest in the rural life I would recommend getting a copy. I’ve only watched part of it once and thought she came across as somewhat narcissistic and the programme seemed like a big 'selfie'.

I love it and follow the exploits of the numerous children. I am from a sheep farming background so the sheep are a big attraction. Don

Her occupation is not exactly for the narcissistic.
