Re: W is for Water Buffalo W is for Whole Lotta Led. Taken at The Corn Exchange, Exeter on 26th October.
Re: W is for Winspit Winspit in Dorset, looking out towards the sea. There are some interesting caves set into the cliffs which are man made (old quarry workings)..... the ceilings held up by pillars of cut stone.
Re: W is for Whaler At least I think it is. Pretty sure the one in the backgroud is from the shape of it. Happy to be corrected though!
V is for Venom This recently arrived just down the road from us. It's at the entrance to a small industrial park that used to be an airfield in WWII
W is for Whitby Taken from the little boat that leaves the harbour for a 20 minute cruise around the local marker buoys out at sea and back. Mind you, what can you expect for a quid?
Re: W is for Weevil W was going to be for white beer but the bottle opener was closer than the camera
X is for Xanadu The mansion of Alfred DuPont (Dynamite manufacturer) at Varadero, Cuba. (Built in the 1920s)
X is for Xanthic A Yellow Wagtail in a field of Yellow Oil Seed Rape. Xanthic is Greek for Yellow (I had to go through the 'X's in the dictionary to find that one.) Maybe I can use this picture again for next week, too.
Re: X is for OS X Leopard Whilst queuing for Leopard, someone (passing by) noticed the big X in the Apple store and asked if we were queuing for X-Factor.
Y is for Y-fronts! I know you were expecting a picture and sorry to disappoint you but I'm surprised that nobody's done it yet!
