Prompted by First View, I thought I'd have a look back at my efforts.

Found this strange looking plant next to a garden shed. Using a fisheye lens on the Panasonic G2 seemed appropriate...

Nope. Far as I can see, I have never had a camera out on a March 1 before.

I searched for mine on Flickr. I took so many in past years, it's a bit depressing really. Most of them I can't do again, but nice to have the memories.
By the way, that last one of mine was emulating Marie Cosindas, whose use of colour was in-your-face strident!

I was beginning to think the same, going through Flickr Camera roll, but it seems that in the last years I was out birding with pretty much zero success. I was thinking the same today, just put the battery on to charge, though it is too windy really. Last year, on the way out, I looked back at the hide that I'd spent the last 20 minutes before closing (and seeing nothing) to find a Marsh Harrier in full view of the same. There is someone inside. How they avoided getting their car locked in the car park I don't know.

Ah, flickr camera roll to the rescue. This in 2015 was for the RPS Breathing London project that I lost interest in after wasting about 1000 shots :(

Funny, over the last few years, I've only got a couple of pictures from 1st March, from 2019.

    Just a couple of swans...

Ta. At least I found an original one. First time I went there I did a few general ones and then saw a couple of fantastic compositions from someone over the other side and felt a complete fool. So I went back determined to "see" something.

It seems I don't take photographs on the 1st March.

The one I posted is only one I can verify as March 1 in 17 years on flickr. In fact March is a total blank in almost every year. Can't explain it at all.
