#WorldPhotoDay Horse at Sunset

I had seen these horses in a field near my home a number of times and thought I'd try and photograph them. I tried a few times at Dawn but the image I had in mind never materialised. One evening there looked like the start of a great sunset so I jumped in the car and rushed over to se what was up. I walked along the hedge with my Canon plus my longest lens. One of the horses walked on its own to the top of the hill, turned and faced me just as the sky hit that magic colour. I exposed for the sky (gave me a fast shutter) and used a single focal point on the head and shot at 300mm hand held.
