Two Emperor Dragonflies

This shot of two dragonflies facing each other took three visits to Monkton Nature Reserve. As dragonflies move so quickly, it was not always easy to focus the lens on them. However, when these two decided to rest on the water I got my chance. Canon EOS 400 D. 220 mm lens 1/125; f6.3; ISO 100
