Chelwood Steps - Paul Harrison, West Sussex - Editor’s Choice 9/6/12

Paul Harrison, West Sussex Editor’s Choice 9/6/12 Chelwood steps - Paul took this enchanting image in Ashdown Forest, positioning his camera just a few inches from the ground to emphasise the autumn leaves Samsung GX20, 10-20mm, 5secs at f/22, ISO 200, cable release This is a very grand shot of a very grand set of old stone steps. The low angle emphasises the great height you could reach by walking up them, and the diagonal composition actually invites us to do so. The colours are rich and vibrant, and it looks like the sort of place we’d all like to visit – Damien Demolder, Editor
