Birch Tor

On the climb up to Birch Tor on Dartmoor, I was pelted with hail blowing in on a freezing gale, As the hail made contact it stung! But being even more determined to make a photograph I made it to the top and quickly set my tripod up. The gale kept blowing which was making it difficult to keep every thing still especially now my face had gone numb!As I got my composition set up, the sun broke through the hail clouds lighting up the landscape in front of me in spectacular fashion - This had been some of the best light I had see in a while. I quickly took my exposures and then the light vanished as quickly as it arrived.
